About the Doctor
After completing his MBBS from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, he trained as a Junior Resident at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi—one of the country’s largest tertiary care centres—where he developed a strong foundation in acute psychiatric and emergency care. He went on to pursue his MD in Psychiatry from Kolhapur, followed by a three-year Senior Residency at the prestigious Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, one of India’s oldest and most distinguished mental health institutes.
His work extends beyond clinical practice into systems building and mental health innovation.
In 2020, he founded YesMindy, a comprehensive technology-driven mental health platform designed to bridge the gap between patients and quality psychiatric care. The platform integrates online and offline services while enabling mental health professionals to improve accessibility, continuity of care, and clinical efficiency.
Dr. Prasad has also played a pivotal leadership role in strengthening mental health services across Delhi NCR. As Centre Head at Athena Behavioral Health, he led clinical operations and team building, contributing to the rapid emergence of the centre as a recognised name within a year of inception.
Currently, he serves as Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at Yatharth Hospital, Noida Extension, where he established the Department of Psychiatry from the ground up—building patient trust and achieving substantial daily outpatient footfall.
Deeply invested in youth mental health, Dr. Prasad collaborated with HCL Healthcare at Shiv Nadar University to re-establish and revitalise campus psychiatric services. Through structured clinical systems and trust-based engagement, he restored student confidence in institutional mental healthcare, resulting in one of the highest campus footfalls in psychiatric services.
At Sshimoh, Dr. Prasad envisions a model of care that upholds dignity, rights, and ethical integrity. His approach integrates clinical excellence, technology-enabled systems, and collaborative team leadership. He is committed to destigmatising mental health admissions and creating recovery-oriented environments where individuals and families feel empowered, informed, and supported.
His larger mission is to strengthen India’s mental health ecosystem by addressing systemic barriers—dropouts, stigma, fractured belief systems, and lack of coordinated care—through structured, accountable, and humane practice.
Under his clinical leadership, Sshimoh aims to become a centre of trust, ethics, and professionalism—one that families would confidently choose for their own.
